ADC driver school Testing Policy for Washington State Knowledge and Driving Tests

ADC driver schools policy for all taking tests at Academia de Conducir. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to your appointment. The acknowledgment form explaining school policies must be signed in order to take the tests.

The passing score of the knowledge test is 80%, 32 of 40 questions answered correctly. 

The passing score of the skills test is 80% out of a maximum 100%

Applicant must have a physical photo ID or passport to take the the Knowledge test/ Skills test.

The use of electronic devices while driving is prohibited.

Applicant can not be accompanied during testing sessions.
 
Anyone under the influence of drugs and or alcohol will not be able to take the tests and will forfeit any funds that were paid. 

The use of your own vehicle is permitted under certain guidelines: Street legal for public roads and all instruments and devices working properly. Lights, mirrors, windshield/wipers, defrosters intact and working properly, tires and insurance/registration up to date, licensed and current tabs(Not an exhaustive list).

No refunds if vehicle is not working properly, no insurance present, failure to bring proper ID, tabs expired, arriving 8 mins late. You will be assessed a rescheduling fee of 90$. Knowledge test fee 40$, 2 attempts ____________ Skills test fee 90$, per attempt ____________

The ability to brake , signal and arm signaling will be observed during the commencing of the skills test. Inability to perform these functions will result in the forfeiture of the test and fees.

We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone.

All weapons must be stored in a safe area away from the testing site.

Applicants with a physical, mental, visual, or any medical issue affecting driving (permanent and or temporary) must be tested at a DOL office. Failure to disclose this information prior to taking the skills test will result in your test not being honored at DOL. There will be no refund.

Pursuant to RCW 46.20.720, a driver convicted of an alcohol offense may be required to have an Ignition Interlock Device (IID) in order to drive. The applicant must take the skills test in their vehicle using the IID.

The rescheduling time frame is within 48hrs before your test. Failure to notify before 48hrs will result in forfeiture of skills test/fees.


All test scores will be updated through SAW electronically within 24 hours. Passing the knowledge and driving test doesn’t guarantee that an applicant will be issued a driving license. 

The Department of Licensing reserves the right to refuse a license to an applicant. DOL may randomly re-test an applicant. Failure to be re-examined will result in the denial of a drivers license.
